The Legacy Ball is a formal affair that celebrates the residents of Grand Rapids’ commitment to the continuous advancement of its African American culture by honoring those who work diligently to promote diversity. Since it's inception in 2008, Legacy Ball has given away over $18,000 to local non-profits and scholarships, and has honored our African American elected officials, pastors, attorneys and community leaders.
